Click2Call is a simple app that will allow you to have contacts that you call frequently as springboard shortcuts. Unlike the apps on the Apple AppStore that claim to do the same thing, Click2Call actually allows you to make the shortcuts without the need of safari and it uses MobileSubstrate to make the call so again you do not need Safari.

Requires iOS version 4.1 or higher

Features include being able to add springboard shortcuts for both a normal phone call and a FaceTime call.

Can you add an option so that when you end a call you return to the springboard rather than recent calls list? That's the only thing stopping me from ditching CallMe for this.

There is another cydia app that will do this for you, check out PhoneCloser Free on BigBoss

I really did not change anything as far as picking contacts goes but ill see whats up. I am on 4.1 now with limerain and no problems. do you have backgrounder?

Sadly I couldn't get PhoneCloser to work >.<

The app kept crashing on me when I installed it via the repo. However, it worked fine when I installed it via SSH using the .deb file. Hope this helps some of you guys out.

Doesnt crash on me via repo but ill look into it to see whats up

Confirmed! I purchased from Cydia and works... (Iphone 4 w 4.2.1) I would have a small request from developer;

It would be better if contact name states on picture (may be it requires bigger picture?) because some themes does not prefer to use undocked icon name thus the contact name's would not be shown, am I right?

btw, it is very useful program which I was looking for since long time (without requiring Safari or upload to someone's server and get bookmark)

If this is ever implemented, I hope its a choice (setting). I would probably never use this feature, and it would probably make the icon look ugly lol. I'd prefer to see my favorite contacts' faces without their name covering half their faces

This is working very well
I'm not sure if you can do anything about this, but there is always a short 'freeze', or lag after pressing the contact icon. The call won't be made until about 1 second after pressing the icon. It would be much better if it worked instantly and smoothly.
