This is the home of MobileTerminal.app, a terminal emulator application for the iPhone. MobileTerminal.app is NOT an SSH client, nor Telnet for that matter. It can however be used to execute a console ssh-client application.

See the http://code.google.c...al/wiki/Roadmap for development plans.

For support and discussion visit http://groups.google.../mobileterminal

See known issues at http://code.google.c...nal/issues/list

The popular package management system Cydia currently contains a version of mobileterminal that is known to not work in newer versions of iOS. See the Downloads section for newer binaries and check out the Installation wiki for details on how to install if you need assistance. Please do not file bug reports about older binaries.

Make sure to write preferences to NSUserDefaults upon leaving the settings menu.
This was broken when fixing some autoration bugs.

Fixes issue 254

Just updated after seeing this, and yes it saves settings now. Not having to reset gestures each time I go into terminal is definitely win.

I have looked at the wiki for installation but I think iOS5 is different as I cannot find the Cydia folder in private/var/root/Media/Cydia there is only an iTunes folder so it must be somewhere else in iOS5 could someone give me a little guidance here please

The Cydia folder your supposed to create and drop the file in there and reboot twice. Or you could just use ifile or myfile and install that way which is much easier
