Just a quick little update:
Here is the program: http://puu.sh/u5AI I'm working on a video, but IP Firewall seems to be picky as to making it work. I'll see what I used to do that would make it work but I'm off to bed for now.

List of things you will need:
= Firewall IP - This is a must have on the iDevice, if you do not have it, please stop now.
= SSH or iFile access - You will be transferring files, I will not detail on how to do this (I assume it is basic knowledge.)

this doesn't work. maybe they fixed it but when you go to 'song book' there are no songs and the page is just blank...

i blocked connection to both addresses that come up for the session, like the guy in the last post said.

EDIT: reinstalling magic piano and not logging in etc worked! so if anybody has this issue, just do that.

Edit: ok ok.. i got Firewall ip but when i deny access to smule, then comes apsalary, not amazon. when i allow its access once my song list just appears in blank. what should I do?

Block apsalar as well, after that is blocked a connection to amazon should request permission

fine. i accepted amazon and i got the songs in my list. but when i choose one it says "Unable to perform track; Downloadind of song resources failed"

what can i do now?

This doesn't work for me. The songbook is blank. The amazon request never comes up after denying connection for this session for the first address and denying always for the other one. Should I delete the songLibrary.json.hash too?

It sounds like you are not placing the songlibrary.json in the Magic Piano.app folder but instead in with the user folder. Are you sure you have placed it in the right spot?

Thanks for the reply. I've put it in the right folder now but the song list never refreshes and the songs still have a price beside it that I have to buy. Is this caused by the edited songlist to be older than the actual one which had already been updated here where I live at GMT+8?

This is caused by not having the most recent songlibrary.json try getting one the day I update it or update it yourself.

That would actually be caused by the application connecting to smule, I think your Firewall IP may not be properly denying the connection.

What can I do to block api.smule.com? Firewall IP seems to be working, but I still get the XX new on top of the songbook option in the main menu, which suggests that it is still connected to smule?

I have no clue, what could be wrong, only thing I can think is that you're not hitting the deny tab before hitting session... :/

Was looking for this last week and tried it out a few days ago. It works but unfortunately after modding Magic Piano, it lags up my whole iPhone. The lag disappears after uninstalling MP.

I have a 3rd gen touch and have never experienced any lag due to Magic Piano. I think you have a different problem there.

Besides the lag, I reinstalled just now and the app keeps crashing upon start up. Any solutions? =/

Not sure, judging by how some of the app review that it is happening to people I don't know what could cause that. :/
