I didn't say compiled, I said packed. Your executable is packed to prevent it from being reverse engineered.

It modifies two registry values in HKU.

It's also picked up by two AV's as:


Trojan.Spy.Gen.b
Trojan.Agent/Gen-Goo

If I was annoyed enough I may even monitor and filter out packets sent/received and check ports after this has been run on a machine. But I really don't care that much. I only initially asked a few questions because I was suspicious. Forget I said anything and let's carry on normally.. :)

Its packed by upx, just reverse the upx theres no code on it, autoit automatically does that to reduce the size of the file. You may go ahead and do whatever you want to it, those false detections are due to upx and one is due to an av flagging autoit as a virus.

Edit: I'm just going to PM you the source code so you can see. It's nothing special.

iapfree does not work. resets back. any solution? it seems app is totally changed the way it used to handle things.

This appears to be the last working version for this file mod. I may or may not find the motivation to push further into the new version. As of right now my life is rather hectic, if it weren't for a random AIM message tonight I don't think I would have been aware of the new version and bugs.

Oh, did I find out a lot tonight. I was able to download and play a song in the most recent version, completely free!

Tonight I discovered the one thing I had been dying to find in the past versions! :D It excites me to know that I can now access it.

Although this is just a very rough version of what I have, it took me about 2 hours plus of fiddling to get this to work, and I still don't fully understand it.

What I plan to eventually create is a program that will only require you to have the magic.sqlite file, it will convert it into a readable text file, extract the data that is needed, and grab and create a Songbook.json. From here on out it would be very similar to the old method of placing the .json file into Magic Piano.app and loading up the app while blocking a few connections.

Just wondering... May I get a show of hands of how many people actually check this? (Just post here if you really do check this.) I'm dead tired and have to get up in 5 hours so I'm going to get some sleep while I can.

Well I'm currently away from home on a mini vacation. All I can say is that I've been able to put the finishing touches on the method. Now I just have to make a program when I get back after this week.

I made a program that will build a completed Songbook.json and OwnedProduct.json file in less than 6 seconds for me last night. It's much faster then the old method, but the iphone/ipod part of the method is still rather weird.

I can't wait. Don't worry about making everything 100% perfect and user-friendly if that's taking too much time. I (and I'm sure plenty of others) are willing to work at it.
