This is the thread for in-app purchases (DLC) for the EA game Cause of Death.

Requirements:
- Installed Cause of Death (latest version)
- Method of accessing file directory (e.g *iFile, *iFunbox, iExplorer etc.)
*requires jailbreak

Installation Instructions:
Navigate to:
var/mobile/Applications/<CoD Free Folder>/Library/Caches
Put the episodes into this folder.
- On iFunbox, it's under User Applications.
- On iFile, if you are seeing random characters as the names of the folders, make sure Application Names is switched to 'On' in the settings.

Note and FAQ (Please read first):
Q: I'm new to the game. Some of the links seem to be broken, how do I get the previous episodes?
- The previous episodes can be downloaded from the links above.

Q: Help! The episodes don't show up in the list!
- Make sure you close the app on the multitasking bar (iOS 4+) before copying the episodes and save file.
- cod_options.sav is required to be able to play the episodes. You can download it from the link above.

Q: I'd like to contribute! How?
- You can get the latest episode of CoD/SHS and post the episode+save file up here.
- If you've a spare iTunes gift card which you don't plan on using, you can PM the code to either Kahn, me or someone who had contributed to this thread.

Updates:
- Starting from July 13, 2011, On Demand episodes will be released on Mondays instead of Thursdays.

I have a problem downloading the last volume (Vol. 5). It would say "Connection Error", repeatedly. Is there any way to bypass this?

EA's servers mess up from time to time, what you can do is to try again later most of the time.

You already have all files for free so its not a huge effort to download em just don't be lazy or purchase em and you will have em in a pack

sry i didnt mean it that way. I have to download each file seperately and then i have to rename each file. thats a lot of work so i just wanted to know if someone has made a pack. i'll post one soon

Hmmm Im not sure what you mean with those packs you shouldn't have to rename any file

cod_option.sav holds infos about episodes and xxx.exp files are the episodes

So wich file you renamed?

Volume 2 - 4 are now available in a zip file. The link is at the top of the page.

You should PUT the cod_options.sav in the first post. Without that file, it wont work, I have to spend 30 mins to figure it out.
