Hi, I had this problem at first too Make sure the application is NOT running in the background when you copy over the NEW cod_options. In other words you need to double tap the home button, kill the application, copy over the file and then re-open it. It should not overwrite the new file with the old one.

I hope it works!

He have a good point I forgotten about that since I always kill the app before sending a new sav file... If the game is running it wont care wich file you put in the doc folder and it will overwrite it with what it got loaded when you first started it

Requirements:
- Jailbroken device
- Installed Cause of Death
- Method of SSH (e.g iFile, iFunbox, OpenSSH etc.)

Installation Instructions:
Via SSH, navigate to:
var/mobile/Applications/<CoD Free Folder>/Documents/
Put the episodes into this folder. (Along with the cod_options.sav file)
- On iFunbox, it's under User Applications.
- On iFile, if you are seeing random characters as the names of the folders, make sure Application Names is switched to 'On' in the settings.

Also, if it doesnt work, verify that all the episodes are in the folder, and there are three

cod_xxxxx files (cod_options, cod_football, and one more)

then close the app, and replace the cod_options file with the one you downloaded. then restart the app. if the episodes dont show up,

close the app, and delete all three of the cod_xxxxx files, and copy the cod_options file you downloaded into the folder.

then reboot the app.

this worked for me.

cod_football.sav is the save file for progress in the main megapack
cod_expansion.sav is the save file for progress in the last played dlc episode

So you if you erase any of those two file you will loose your savegame

The only important file are the cod_options.sav and all exp files

I'd fixed the link already, it should be working now. Seems like the Google Docs privacy settings was accidentally set to 'Private'.

Just a suggestion - Chapters 5, 6, 7 & 8 of Volume 5 are not shown under the Volume 5 head, rather they have a separate category for each of those chapters. Further, the new Side Story Fallon and Yeong is shown under a new Side Stories head, rather than the existing head for Detective Kalaba and Amy's Case. If you could merge those heads, I believe it would look a l'il better. I know its not a big issue, just thought to bring your attention towards it.

Please don't look at it as if I'm complaining, just a suggestion.

Thanks for the organised options file. Further, its so much better to have the Volume packs rather than individual episodes.


By the way, Just Another Day doesn't work because I believe you named the file as Now_Airing_Special.exp in the options file, instead it should be now_airing_special.exp as per the file downloaded through the Documents folder. So I tried renaming the exp file Now_Airing_Special.exp, and then it worked..

Thanks alot! The list does look neater now. Since most of you guys're fine with Google Docs, I'll continue posting there. Also, as ApplPie pointed out, the spelling of the Now Airing Special is case-sensitive (it should be in lower-case), but it isn't really a big issue.

Maybe I renamed the file I can't remember but here its capitalized as all other episodes gonna fix it in the next option file

If someone want the same option file but with separate episode just ask I know some people prefer it that way... (My GF and some of my friends too) Its easier to see wich episode you are currently playing instead of Volume 4 : Zero

As I said cod_football.sav and cod_expansion.sav are progress save file so its no need to delete em

Just killing the app and replace the cod_options.sav will do the trick.... Except if EA make us a surprise but I doubt that.... Even if they did it with SHS 2 weeks ago

Yea, but I doubt it was intentional. The update had some improvements such as making English/International episodes compatible with each other, reduced file size of the Football Season and addition of The New Girl megapack.
