I was wondering if anyone knows what is up with itunes and media keys on logitech keyboards.
My keyboard has pause/play/forward/backward media keys that work in WMP globally - so i can be playing a game and playing/pausing the music etc.
They even work in itunes when itunes is in focus. However, when itunes looses focus the buttons do nothing.
Is there a way around this? Installing another application to "catch" the keypresses or downgrading itunes?

Nevermind, fixed it. Used iTunesKeys which runs in the background. Lets me control itunes 10.4 globally with my media keys and the best part....itunes don't need to have focus.

That's might be possible that your multimedia keyboard is not supporting iTunes because of your are not installing it's driver. Some company's keyboard need driver support for it's multimedia function. You should try to find that if there is any drivers related to your keyboard to use multimedia function. After doing this your problem is not solved than use some different music player that support multimedia keyboard function.
