Saw on another forum (sin ful), a staff member wrote a script to automatically removes all posts that just say "Thanks", "Thx", "Thanks!", etc and they were able to get rid of 6,000+ posts. Maybe xSellize needs that as well just to ease the browsing and reduce number of pages in a thread. And make it easy for the mods.

haha good stuff. At least we know who's got a sense of sarcastic humor around here.

The idea is a pretty good one though. It always frustrated me to open a thread that I'm interested in thinking there was a worthwhile comment, only to find a "thanks"

its a good idea dont get me wrong ,, but i think sadam has so many scripts on the site already . itll blow this **** up lol.. ill inform him of the idea though.. but we always told staff 1 word thx posts or bumps or +1 posts were not allowed.. we cant keep up with all post but i think u get the idea

Words are always nice but hitting that "Thanks" button helps more and gives that person a better rep. So why not hit "Thanks" and say something nice. Now Thank me!! lol.. just kidding.

The reason I would suggest is the +1 rep button is too impersonal, there's no indication of the individual that has been helped, some other sites have specific "thanks" buttons, which then places a "The following people thanked this post: AP50, PigPox, JoeSchmo, Etc", it puts a name to the gratitude, not much, but it seems a little less impersonal, but hey, if Google can get away with a Posted Image, then it must be ok. :-/

Wrong click on the number of thanks on the individual and you can see all whom have thanked him ;)... its a cleaner way of doing things.. but its the same exact way like any forum
