Which jailbreak tool do I use to jailbreak this firmware?
None! This firmware is already jailbroken and has the latest Cydia installed.

Whats Hacktivated??
If you are using ultrasn0w on iPhone 4 BB 01.59.00 or iPhone 3GS BB 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01 or 05.13.04 to unlock your phone, use the hacktivated one to be able to unlock your phone. If you purchased your phone factory unlocked, or you have the official SIM card, use the standard one.

I get a weird error in iTunes like 1600 or 21!!
First, make sure you are following the instructions and you entered Pwned DFU-Mode. If that doesn't help, try this:
Windows: Open Notepad as administrator and open the file C:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc/hosts (no file extension). Find all lines with the word Apple in them (for example 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com or 127.0.0.1 gs.apple.com) and put a # infront of them (for example #74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com). Adding a # makes them useless. Dont forget to save. If this is too complicated to you, you can download a fixed hosts file below.
Mac: Open finder and press Cmd+Shift+G and type /private/etc. Look for the file 'hosts' and open it with Text Edit. If this still didnt fix your problem, reply with the error code you are receiving.

Download hosts file for Windows (extract and put in C:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc)
Download hosts file for Mac (extract and put in /private/etc)

Warning: This might break the crack/serial for some programs like Adobe Creative Suite. Backup the original file before and if there are issues revert back to it after you finished restoring to the custom firmware.

With the new Sn0wbreeze 2.9.1.

Is this for iPad 2 and/or iPhone 4S?
No. They use a userland exploit which means you cant create a custom IPSW. Use Absinthe.

Oh No! Everything went well and iTunes restored my device but when it was almost finished I received error 10xx and my device is in recovery mode?!! HELP!
Download TinyUmbrella (download link are on the right side), select your device on the left and click 'Exit Recovery'. If that still doesn't fix it, reply with more details.

Not really, it just gives you more space for 3rd party software. The ram and processor are what determine speed.

Nothing. You just restore to this and Cydia is already installed. The IPSW was made with Sn0wbreeze.

all custom firmware preserve baseband unless made with pawnage tool wich has the option to do or not to do...

One more question, I live in south America and dont have AT&T coverage but I do have an active American AT&T sim card, if I choose a Standard Non-Hacktivated ipws, can I still activate my iphone (obviosly locked to AT&T), just using that sim... or do I also need to have coverage/signal from AT&T ???

Alright! You f*cked me overhere. I use gevey sim and wanted to preserve my BB and hacktivate my phone, so I downloaded the hacktivated IPSW for iphone 4 (the one I have). When I tried to deactivate with the latest release of redsn0w, it didnt work on 5.0.1. I've looked around on the net and I've found people with the same problem. Now, my phone is stuck at the activate with itunes scree. So, do you have any solution to this? Please, you better have to, otherwise I don't know what to do.
