Unable to disconnect a motherboard cable HELP URGENT!

hey im cleaing my laptop since i saw lots of dust and ive followed a irisvista disasembbly guide and cant seem to disconnect a motherboard cable which after looking seems to be for the speaker and i cant remove the top panel with out disconnecting it. ive tried pushing everywhere on the connecter and the cable does not want to come out so instead of breaking it i decided to ask you!
its the connector on the left, a bit blury but its square

if this helps it the farthest left one at the top where the arrow is pointing. i cant disconnect it from it slot. how do i?

The one with two wires? Those kind of connectors usually come out easy. I just grab it with my thumb and index finger nails and pull them straight out. Might require a bit of fiddling(rocking it to the left and right might work) but they usually come out.

The two wire connectors will come out if you grab the edges and wiggle them away.

The flex cables should have a plastic bar running the width of the connector. I's on hinges or slides so that you can move it, releasing the grip on the cable. Once that bar is released, the cable should just slide right out.

I agree with Robo. They are on hinges which is why you can't pull them out.. Unconnect them from the hinges and you are good to go. If they don;t go still, some manufacturers mount those suckers in to where it will be barely impossible to pull these out.. I know my asus laptop had this done before without any hinges and I snapped the cord. Thank god I had accidental warranty. They sent me a new laptop for it.
