Just after installing the iphonedelivery-0-5-2-16 from the advinux repo , my phone started behaving badly and crashed whenever I started it , freezing on the screen and unable to use slide to unlock feature, eventually had to do a full restore , this was ok on tethered JB , started after running untethered one.
Now as its important to have delivery reports , can anyone shed a light as to how we can get in touch with the developer as the email shown is not showing up clearly.
Anyone has managed to run it smoothly ?

As first version of redsnow messed some things up, download redsn0w_win_0.9.10b3 and reapply jailbreak without installing cydia ( since you already have it ). No need to restore, just applu over the old JB.
It will fix the SSH "connection refused" problem too, among other things.
1. erase any old repo for iphone delivery
2. add repo iphonedelivery.advinux.com/ios5beta/
3. search and install iphone delivery from this repo
4. respring and immediately after, reboot.
Works perfect on iphone 4, ios5.01 JB. Hope this helps.

There's two iPhone delivery packages in that repo. I've got the package "iPhoneDelivery" with version 0.5.2-25 installed which is stated "Compatible iOS5" on the info page. There's also a package named "iphonedelivery"(note the caps) with version 0.3.8.10 that I've not tested. Maybe you could try the other package?

Please note that my advice may be incorrect.

Tested both version on iphone 4s 5.0.1 & its not working. Got to use code for delivery message while they fix it.

Why don't you try smsconfirmation it does nearly the same thing and is working for me on ios 5.01.

I already use bitesms which enable me to add a delivery report prefix, so i get the delivery confirmation but i receive it as a SMS which is kinda annoying, the best thing in iphone delivery it can be configured so i just get a short tone or a vibration alert once the message received and also has a graphic symbols beside each sms i send with date of reception..
I don't know about smsconfirmation, I'll give it a try..but hope it do something close to iphone delivery though..

@filosmou
just tried smsconfirmation, it has nothing to do with delivery reports, it just notifies you if the message SENT successfully or not, actually it is the most ridiculous tweak i ever saw on cydia..

Did you use the correct version and did you turn on "Use MS (Semi tether)"? Works without issues for me..

What is this discussion all about, I already stated in post #5 for YOU that the dev is working on it still..
