if I get this right it "only" moves the .debs to cydias cache. you'll have to install them via cydia

To get it to add your sources, you need to sync your phone with the app. You need to plug in your phone to your computer and then click the third tab on the app. Then you click on the 2nd icon with the iphone syncing to your computer. It'll take a few seconds and then it'll add all your sources from cydia.

Lol, remove that. I removed the watermark on desktop, and that send feedback thingy.

Start- type regedit
HKEY_CURRENT_USER - Control Panel - Desktop - FeedbackToolEnabled (default setting is at 3. Change it to 0 :))

With this app, can I back-up the packages that I have downloaded & installed from Cydia on my Iphone ? If yes, how ? Because when I sync my Iphone with Cyder, Cyder receives only my sources and shows me available packages; but it does not back-up what I have previously installed on my Iphone.

To sum up, I want to understand clearly what this app does and does not.

Added : One more question, I downloaded a theme and I can see it in Sync page of Cyder (third tab). How can I install (copy, send, or whatever :) this theme to my Iphone to be chosen later in Winterboard?

ok so once you have dlded the files u want in cyder, just go to cydia or installer on ur iphone and it will install when u had synced

Thanks for the answer, but does not work for me.
Please check the ss below. After clicking the green arrow for sync from PC to Cydia (Iphone), I went to Cydia and checked my packages. But Sephia (theme) was neither there nor in Winterboard.

ive been playing around with this and it works pretty good. But i dont think it does a backup of any kind... oh well.

When I read this tutorial in its original language (italian), I clearly understand what Cyder is for.

Unfortunately it's not for backing-up the packages that we installed on our Iphones from Cydia. It's just a PC tool that let us download and install packages from PC to Iphone without having internet connection on Iphone.

It would be awsome to have a one click backup of the packages that we sync from our iphones. I have searched for this type of thing on the internet for months all i came up with was this way explained in this link below

What my main concern is that alot of packages automaticly download all the necessary files with it to work (such as utilities), and if you just copy the main one i dont know that all the other files will copy with it to work.

I cannot transfer the sources to Cydia that I add to Cyder on my PC. The sync button in the 3rd tab (copy sources to Cydia) and the option in the 4th tab (Copy sources to Cydia before exit) do not work. They seem to work, but I cannot see the added sources in Cydia.

However, I can transfer the sources to Cyder that I add to Cydia on my Iphone via Wifi, this function is OK.

Moreover, I added a few sources to Cyder, then quit and restarted Cyder. But my new added sources were gone, they were not saved. Do not tell me that it syncs the sources with Cydia at every startup, because that option in the 4th tab is not checked and also If I delete a source from Cydia, I can still see it in Cyder after restarting Cyder.

Any help out there ? Thanks.
