this jailbreak is so sick! very easy and fast! both pad2 and phone4s!

Really? People like you shouldn't even have a jailbreak! Acting like you deserve it when they do this out of there own time. Learn to be more generous an less demanding and be thankful!

Lol I was expecting to hear something like that, they shouldn't have released to Mac before windows. They should both be released at the same time, what if apple pushed a quick update to patch it and then is windows users are out of luck if we need to restore? That's why I feel the way I do, of course I'll still donate and that's all my decision.

iPad2 5.0.1 just jailbroke everything seems fine except music icon in dock is now white???
iPhone 4s 5.0.1 no problems.
anyone else? is there a fix?

I'm fine with MAC users being the guinea pigs. Saves me the trouble of dealing with bugs.

White icons and hidden icons appearing are just an issue with the cache on iOS 5.0.1. They should fix themselves if you reboot.

If not, look up how to clear the icon cache.

Worked perfectly on an iPad2 for me using an OSX Snow Leopard VM in VMWare on Windows 7. The server seems to be fixed now too (or I just got lucky), I didn't have to do anything with the VPN settings, I just tapped the Absinthe icon and a few seconds later the iPad rebooted. No white icons or anything here, everything looks good (so far).

I agree, I'm a windows user, also thinking about donating. I really do hope this thing drops by tonight or ATLEAST tomorrow morning.

If the windows port isn't released before I start getting tired I think I'll just do the same.
