I've already used the cmd version to jb my iphone 4s using cinject_0.4.3 should I re JB my iphone with this new version ?? what's new in it anyway??

I was wondering the same thing, I just went ahead and installed a fresh 5.0.1 rejailbroke with this and man much easier then the CMD version!! worked perfect now restoring from backup.

If you successfully jailbroke with an older version, jailbreaking with the new version is pointless, according to planetbeing.

Also, the update is the following:

v0.2: Tries to fix no reboot after activating VPN/tapping Absinthe icon. We also tried to fix white icons on SpringBoard after jb.

I prepped myself to JB with the windows cli port tonight but saw the gui just as I was about to start. 5 minutes later, 64gb 4s jailbroken and cydia installing apps. It was a lot smoother than I expected it to be.

I'm downloading the JB for my 5.0.1 4s as I type this. I will edit post to let everyone know how it progresses.

Edit: worked smoothly and perfectly the very first try. Very easy and straightforward. Maybe I'm lucky, but I have 0 white or blank icons :-)

I have jailbroken my iPhone 4s with that cinject.. I am getting white blank icons often.. Can I re-jailbreak using this tool ? or I have to restore it to fresh copy and then only I can jailbreak ??

It took longer to restore from backup than to jailbreak.
Currently adding all my sources and tweaks...

Worked perfectly for me (Win 7 x64 Ultimate; iPhone 4S v5.0.1). Did take longer than expected; was worried that it wasn't going to work.

Have installed all my favorite JB apps. So good to have them back!

Ok. For those of you who are having problems with absinthe crashing at the 'preparing jailbreak data', I found a solution to the crash.
It took me hours for me to realize I was having compatibility issues. A few web sites said if I right click absinthe, hit properties, hit compatibility, and choose your service package ( mine was sp3 ), hit apply and ok. Supposedly absinthe would not crash. It still crashed for me.
I found one more step that made it work for me. I went to compatibility with the right click, chose my sp3 for compatibility, then down at the bottom of the screen, it has a link for help. Click the help, it will take you through a few steps to fix your problem. It will launch absinthe for you, and it won't crash. finally my iPad 2 is jailbroken, and now I can go jailbreak my friends iPhone 4 that took me hours of fail until I just went home.

seems like the windows version isn't working that well or has failure rate. I've had 100% success rate with the mac version vs 6x% with the windows

Everytime i click the link, this appears: Host 'XX.XXX.XXX.X' is blocked because of many connection errors; unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts'
