Windows driver issue?

So my iPhone 4S can be detected by iTunes fine without a problem, but Windows 7 cannot. Normally the phone should show up as a Camera device that allows you to import pictures, however I get the error message of "MTP USB Device failed to install". And usually the error message pops up when I UNPLUG my phone from the PC.

I've tried numerous options online from googling(ie. uninstall/reinstall iTunes etc etc.) but nothing seems to work and I don't know why. TinyUmbrella and 3rd party software doesn't see/recognize the phone either.

Also when trying to restore/update the phone, I get the iTunes Error Code 6111 and the phone is stuck in a recovery mode loop.

I'm sure it's an issue with Windows, just not sure what it is and hoping to avoid a fresh Windows install just for this. Anyone have any ideas on this? I'd greatly appreciate it (:

Your USB drivers need to be reinstalled or updated. This is a Windows USB Driver issue on your motherboard. Update them or reinstall. I had this issue before when I installed my USB drivers from Windows update. I updated my drivers from my motherboard website and it was fixed.

The iphone drivers are very strictly picky about your USB drivers. Always update them because I will always find something in windows where my iphone won't load anymore and sometimes it will screw my jailbreaks.

Okay I'll give this a shot later when I get a chance, thanks.
