I have a jailbroken iphone 4s, AppSync for IOS 5 is installed successfully and tested without problems, however, today I have downloaded Modern Combat 3 game through installous and installed it successfully, rebooted my iphone (just to be sure everything would be OK), when I sync my iphone with iTunes (iTunes version is 10.5.3), iTunes deletes that game !! that's weird ...
however, I grabbed the ipa of the game on my computer desktop (Mac OS X Lion), and double clicked it to let iTunes to process it, then sync my iPhone again, the game returned back and installed again, so now it syncs well with iTunes ..
my question is : why some apps (like this game) won't sync with iTunes if they were installed through installous ?

The issue is that you are installing via Installous. To ensure the app backups in iTunes when you plug your iPhone into your computer and connect to iTunes be sure to right click or control click on your iPhone on the left in iTunes and choose transfer purchases. This will then back up the Installous installs of any apps and allow them to be backed up and updated etc.

For it to work properly, you have to open Installous, go to settings and click the "sync with iTunes" tab on.
Then every time you install new apps, you will have to transfer purchases
