What can i use iTouch 1 version 3.1.3 for?

iPod Touch
v. 3.1.3

Now that both Apple and Cydia are no loger supporting version 3.1.3 on the iPod Touch 1, what can it be used for?

I take it there is no way to jailbreak it anymore but is there anything that can be done or is it just garbage at this point?

IF i cant jailbreak it again (I restored it before I knew it was no longer supported) what can be done with it?

I had it jailbroken recently but the last versions of Angry Birds from apptracker/installous would not upgrade. Id buy the game if i thought it could upgrade as I had already stared to do on my HP TP device but if it wont upgrade then there isn't any point in buy it.

I have a MBP and an iPhone 4 plus an HP Touchpad and all of them have Angry Birds installed but really wanted it again on this one.

So, is it as good as garbage or can I do something with it?

I'm not sure, but I'm *pretty* sure that BlackRa1n is still up. If I remember, it was one of the first 3.0 Jailbreaking softwares. It might work.

you could try spirit jailbreak im 100% sure i used that to jailbreak my ipod touch 2g when it was on 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 so i guess it should work for you as the ipod touch 1g was still being used and worked on.

I first tried to rejailbreak this yesterday for i was having problems with it and assumed it just needed to be redone.
I now realize the problems i was having were due to it not updating anymore but i wasn't aware of that until late last night
I began to ask about my problem i one thread but as i posted the question, while waiting for help, I began to look around and started seeing hints on how to fix it and tried
a few different things but o where did i yet see that no one was updating this one anymore otherwise i wold have known that was the root of my problem.

BUT, what i dont understand here and need a clearer answer is the one about BlackRain?
I am not sure how that will help?

I need to know IF there is a jailbreak I can use on this 3.1.3 that will let me jailbreak it with a CYDIA that is working?

I did jailbreak it with SPIRIT but as soon as I did, because CYDIA is o longer supporting it, none of the repositories or something were working.
And it kept crashing.
I knew how to stop it from crashing but needed afcda22 file on it but without cydia updating properly i wasn't able to get it on there..
The next choice i suppose would be CAN I downgrade to 3.12 or would that work?
And if so, i dont have any sshh saved???

I guess i just need advice on what to do or is this just too old now its impossible to jailbreak?
cannot see how blackrain would be any different than spirit but if someone wiser than i knows it is the answer, please tell me why ad i will try it
