homescreensettings deb dated 3feb has screwed my cydia..cant see any package atall not even the installed ones..error the package com.pf.home screen settings needs to be reinstalled. but i cant find an archive for it


can someone help./..................................................................

First of all this is the wrong forum to post this

This is a deb manager an you remove it manually

That or mobileterminal. He's right about posting this in the wrong forum but do you even have terminal installed or ssh?

Do not panic, Use IFile and go to /var/lib/dpkg and look for "avaliable" and "status" open them with iFile Text Viewer and look for "com.pf.home screensettings" and delete the block that contain the info for the deb package, save and them restart cydia, this should work. But do not forgert to cancel everithing with "homescreen..." in /Library/PreferenceLoader/Preferences and /Library/MpbileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries. this should fix the issue.

open them with iFile “ Text Viewer” and look for "com.pf.homescreensettings" and delete the block that contain the info for the deb package, save and now go and cancel any file that contain "…homescreen..." in “/Library/PreferenceLoader/Preferences” and “/Library/MpbileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries”.
Respring and then launch cydia, this should fix the issue…
