Hi to all, I'm new here but I always use Appsync on my iDevices...
on november I've bought an iPhone 3GS that now is ugraded to 5.0.1 and jb with redsnow everything goes fine, cydia worked for months, appsync worked like a charm...

untill one day, suddendly (really really suddendly and without I've touched anything) my phone begun to restart everytime I try to make a call, or send an sms...

then cydia stop working and crash on start....

So I decide to install ios 5.0.1 again, in DFU with no backup restore, I've install appsync and again, the phone start to shoutdown everytime I make a call or send an sms...

I have to tell you that this time I have no c r a c k e d apps installed and no hacks, just cydia and appsync (for ios 5.0+ ver 2.2).

Then I've install ios 5.0.1 again this time with no jb....and the phone worked fine, no crash, no restart....
so I've installed cydia, and everything worked fine...
then I've installed Appsync...and a new problem start: everytime my iPhone lost signal (so I have "no service") it doesn't take the signal again and it autorestart...
Yes! it restart on its own everytime I have no service...
Also this time, no c r a c k e d apps are installed...so this morning I've uninstall Appsync and the phone start working again like it should...

I don't know what to do, I've always use appsync with no problems, and suddendly I have this, maybe it's a bug, because I have no strange hack installed, no winterboard, no cydia apps, nothing...
It's strange that appsync interfere with the phone part...and I don't belive it's a mobilesubstrate problem because it doesn't crash...

Thanks for your help and sorry for my english

Instead of installing Appsync on its own, use installous.
Then, while in installous, open the settings tab and click "Sync with iTunes", which is basically Appsync built into the app.
That should allow you to "transfer purchases" from your phone to your computer.
Let us know if this works.

What repo are you installing AppSync from? It should be http://cydia.hackulo.us, and you should make sure it's also installing MobileSubstrate as a dependency.

If that all checks out, search for and install the old version of AppSync 5.0+ (The one that wasn't dependent on MS). It shouldn't be hard to find the deb on Google.
