Need some help installing these. I know quite a lot but haven't ever dealt with bundle files. Let's get this going for others to have these files!

If you download the zip on your iPhone and extract it to /AppleInternal/Library/PreferenceBundles/, the new categories will appear in the settings app. You will also get the internal build strings on the lockscreen.
"Internal Settings" and "Carrier Settings" seem to be empty for me though, there's probably some other step necessary for them to be used.
Edit: Here's the official instructions, just have to figure out the first part.

You need X-Ray vision to see that folder... lol, it wouldn't be there unless you had a prototype iPhone.
You have to create it.

Whoops, I didn't notice your screen name! Geuss that quote was old news for you.
For the crashing, are you extracting the zip on the iPhone or on your computer? You should do it on the iPhone using iFile, to maintain permissions.

This is a broken file. this Preferences.app is for 5.0 not 5.0.1 and for a iPhone 4. Theres a difference. Tell me what you added to the preference files so i can just readd them for 5.0.1.

internal settings came out at 5.0. so this is the origianl files for it. dont press me here as you did on irc ..or you will be banned..
ive tried these files with a co irc member and it wrked just fine the only thing was it didnt have the brains, but it had the whole gui bit

What im trying to say is i need the files you added so i can make a zip for a workable 5.0.1 preference.app.

Ive been looking through them and im not seeing one spec of the Internal Preferences bundle. Because the bundle is actually a folder that has things in it. Which again i am not seeing. No strings, no connections to internal settings.

To be honest, I dont think you know what your doing. Because you keep saying it has no "brain" when im clearly looking at it right now. Just add a .zip to the Internal Settings and you will see all the files i am talking about.

And lets be honest here. Making /AppleInternal/Library/PreferenceBundles/Internal Settings.bundle and carrier settings.bundle got me the legal text on the lockscreen. But where im stuck is settings app crashing. So lets think logical here Pig Pox.

I actually might have found the problem. The Internal settings bundle is a 5.0 bundle. Maybe changing the firmware plists to 5.0.1 might work out.
Nvm, the guy on twitter who has released the settings is saying there is a certain executable...it might be UsageSettings in the internal settings folder.
