Toshiba laptop wont boot saying dumped physical memory

Hi dont know if anyone can help, but comev To my laptop this morning after doing a download from toshiba, and it wouldnt boot, think it might have been something to do with drivers, cant be sure, not that clued up, anyway couldnt get it to boot, tried doing in every mode ie safe bla bla last known settings that worked,,,,,,, now just come to it and saying,,, registry file failure, cannot load hive file, or corrupt absent or not writable,,,,,,,,system32\config\ software,,,,,,,,,,,,,now its dumped all my physical memory......contact system admin, or get tech support,,,,, i really need as was going to save my blobs...Please help,Running windows xp

It could be that it updated your bios and now one or more of the drivers on your laptop isn't supported with the new bios version. I've had this done to me before. Tho I forgot what I did to fix lol sorry. Best chance is to take to a computer shop.
