iDA GPS ALL Maps and INFO

U WILL NEED TO DELETE THE FILE IDA_ FIRST AND THEN DELETE IDA IN CYDIA OR CYDELETE, INSTALL THE NEW VERSION AND PATCH IT ALL OVER AGAIN(MAKE SURE TO CHANGE THE DATE TO UR NEW INSTALL DATE) AND THE PATCH WILL WORK ON THE NEW VERSION, I HAVE CONFIRMED THIS

this is a easy but looks complicated.what this timestamp patch does is give 8 days indefinately, meaning everyday it gonna read 8 days

1. download iDA either in icy (preferred since they are big file) or cydia- repo is http://apt.ripdev.com
2. open up iDA to get ur license
3. close iDA
4. SSH into your iphone and find the iDA.app folder
5. rename the iDA file to iDA_
6. download the iDA patch file above
7. open it wordpad/notepad or any text editor
8. change the date to date you installed iDA, if u installed iDA today then use todays date
9. save the file and place in the iDA.app folder
10. set permission to 755
11. reboot your device
12. Now when u open iDA it will read 8 days left, what this timestamp patch does is give 8 days indefinately, meaning everyday it gonna read 8 days

since downloading maps on the pc and dragging them into the iphone might be faster, here are the maps deb files

1.Place xxxxx.deb on your phone in /private/var/mobile if ur using terminal or /private/var/root if your using putty/winscp

2.in terminal/putty type dpkg -i xxxxx.deb (cap sensitive)
*in terminal in need to gain su root axx, so first
type root
then alpine for passsword

how to get non-european maps to work on iDA

IDA MAP TOOL KIT DOWNLOAD

1.u must already have iDA installed preferably with the timepatch (*note the timepatch still works in the new update in cydia)
2.download the non-european maps(in example i chose california)
3.download the pak tool kit
3.extract the non-eu map pak file using pakextract from tool kit
*note its best to extract the maps into an empty folder since pakU the repackager will pack everything in the directory so if u have anything else in the directory it will pack it and it might mess up your map

4.rename all the file to european name (for example, rus for russia)

5.open filelist.txt with a text editor and replace all the names again with the european name you chose(using find and replace tool makes this alot easier)

6.use paku.exe to rebuild the pak and make sure to rename to the the european name you chose (ex. rus.pak)

7. put in the pak file in the maps for iDA in the correct place (ex if u chose rus, then it would be /IDA.app/Maps/rus/rus.pak
8. enjoy ur non-eu maps

*NOTE NAVIGATION MODE DID WORK FOR ME BUT IT GAVE ME A LOCATION THATS AN HOUR AWAY FROM ME, I HAVENT INSTALLED THE UPDATE VERSION HOPEFULLY THIS WILL FIX THAT
UPDATE: I AM NOW ON 1.01-1 AND GPS NOW FINDS ME WITHIN 10 FEET NOT BAD FOR A 2G (SWEET!)
