Sbsettings updated & 3g toggle fixed.

also, install Rockyour phone app from cydia, and all the apps work from there :D
just the desktop installer doesnt support 3GS

winterboard does work dummies. I've been using it since the day after the jailbreak for 3.0 came out. I have a theme on my phone right now. The only thing is that it doesn't theme the keyboard anymore and it doesn't change the SMS backgrounds anymore. Everything else is still the same. I have the Abeo theme on my phone with some custom icons for "messages" and some others that weren't included but winterboard DEF works.

theyre talking about 3GS.... not 3G

Just be patient. the Jailbreak was released not to long ago and was unexpected. Give the dev's some time to patch up their apps.

i believe most of the apps have been patched to work, logome will not work. and there ae a few unachivers that i installed that made me have to restore it in DFU mode because i bricked it

Voicemail Forwarder doesn't work (crashes phone app and hangs Cydia when respringing)
NES 2.x doesn't work (NES 3 does though)

Also...

RockExtensions (for the Tlert/Elert apps) causes a conflict and nags you on every reboot...
Uninstalling RockExtensions bricked my phone

I'm guessing that you have to wait for tricker 3GS, because the 3GS when jailbroken doesn't detect wifi very well, and has different network settings.

My JB 3GS is working fine with WiFi. I think the only problem is if you also unlock.

If you don't want to wait for it as an update in cydia then you can install it manually by downloading these packages:

Be warned: You might run into trouble if you don't also update MobileSubstrate to the version that actually supports the ARM7/Thumb2 stuff for the 3GS.
