I'm new to all this so excuse my ignorance. I'm interested in getting Lockdown. So does it work with 3gs and if so, how do I get it? Thanks to all.:)

You guys are all saying haptik pro works but I installed it and indeed it does work but it KILLS your phone by slowing it down. Opening everything takes forever and SMS is the worst

Tricker 3G is not working for the 3GS.. Apple must have made some fixes.. Waiting for a new version from Jordan Clark

RE: Winterboard
Winterboard was made to work (Thanks Saurik!) very quickly after the 3.0 jailbreak, followed by GeoHot releasing a SECOND version of purplera1n (RC2). Problems were apparently in the Mobile Substrate.
Since then, I've had no problems. Until Saturday, when I loaded an updated Mobile Substrate onto my phone. 36 hours later and it's restored (and not hanging). So if you want to install Winterboard:
Search for the version of Winterboard and MS that have been proven to work on the 3GS; it's not the one in the Repo. Load these using SSH, then don't update wither the MS or Winterboard.

Lockdown 6.1 works, I used it now, but be sure to only lock apps that are seen on the Spring Board, If you lock a app that's in something like a Categories folder, it will crash into safe mode upon opening.
Also Rotate Inhibitor 0.5 now works on the 3GS, am using that aswell.

irealquicksms dont work on my 3gs jailbroken on 3.0 neither does isteamy, lol
