TUT! i found out that the trial period shows lots of days until it comes to an end, but it brings up an error when it comes to sending a msg! which is not good

I found that the date trick works, but any setting I had for my ATT mobility did NOT work and caused all of my internet to stop working. This means Safari, Cydia, and any network. And of course I couldn't do the auto settings because internet didn't work.

It seems like a lot of people on ATT have issues with SwirlyMMS

then someone has to create an imei faker... not to fake your imei for the network, but just to trick swirlyMMS. At that point as long as a real registered user gave up his imei to someone, then when the app retrieves your fake imei(from a person that actually purchased the app), it will cross refrence it to the swirly server and see it as purchased! And walla!

Faking an imei isnt anything new, so I know it can be done.. The old ziphone used to have an option to change the iphones IMEI, and Isnt that how the proxy sim unlockers work? They fake an imei to the phone so it allows the use of your unauthorized sim.... why cant we use something like that to unlock swirly? I know changing the imei is illegal... but Im not saying we actually change the imei, but somehow make an app that will fake it for only swirlys registration process. Its 2 in the morning and Im just rambling, but can someone tell me if this has any usefulness??
Just a little brain fart. Not sure if its even close to being a solution. but why not?

so if i download and install that 1.2.6 version from teh sendspace do i just go into terminal install it and it will be the cracked version for 3800 days...i will just use that until there is a sure fire way for the newer ones to be cracked. did I miss anything, I just install it via terminal and its all done right?

Yes, but it's not working on 2.2x firmware.

My phone is back to normal. Screw SwirlyMMS. I will wait for a patched binary to replace. Hope this helps.


NOTE: The 'successful' patch by replacing the files mentioned in previous post(s) only downgrades the application to version 1.2.0, so recommended not to use it. No point going down to 1.2.0 when you have 1.2.6...

the phone can't boot it stucked in the boootlogo after a while he restart he keep doing this !!! i tried to SSH with WinSCP ( with an adresse that dont figure out in my router before i install this **** SwirlyMMS) But it seems that the iphone can't connect to my router because the springboard did'nt boot
