i can confirm this method still works and works fine on 3.1.3. stupidly messed up my phone the other day and i had to do a complete restore so yep, just did this a few minutes ago and it's working great

u don't hv to redo the process after restore. i just restore 3.1.3...installed legit mcleaner & activate with the same activation serial number. it works. install legit mcleaner > reboot > run mcleaner > activate > put in the same activation serial number as before.

U can get the password back with re-crack it. Read Method 4 of 1st post:
