on the iphone I only use 'Byline'

As it's one of only two apps that support Google Reader

on the pc I use Google Reader :P

This means I have access to my feeds anywhere and they are synced so reading them on one pc will count them as read the next time I check byline on the iphone

often a 99% working system can be more frustrating than one that doesn't work at all.

I use RSS runner, it's exactly everythin' I want in an RSS reader, except the fact that I can't rename the feeds myself =\

It's free, so it's even better =}

I've tried every app out there, and Feeds is the only one that does what I want and syncs with Google Reader. Byline was okay, but the interface was too hard for me to adjust to and had issues with my folders. Also, Feeds supports Instapaper and ReadItLater, which is awesome. Highly recommend it.

check the performance chart, seems light it may be a good replacement for Byline

Do yourself a favour and get byline. It supports caching for offline browsing too. This is a really good feature. Just read what people are saying on the web. It seems to be the no. 1 for rss feeds

yep yep, the joys... ;)

wow, so far Feeds and SmartRSS2 are my top picks. great interfaces, both work well, both can search, also have a directory of feeds available as well as being able to sync with google... i think Feeds actually has the more direct and functional UI, SmartRSS2 seems fun to use though.

I tried byline 2.52 and, it seems very dummied down, unless i'm missing something, it is mostly a tool for syncing to your google rss feeds... otherwise no search, you can add rss feeds manually but, i don't often remember all rss feed addresses and need a directory or search.
