Has anyone got the real tomtom ozzy voice because the one I downloaded sounds nothing like him. It might do to americans, but I live where ozzy was brought up and I have that accent and it ain't right!! I'm after the official one please.
Also if there's an official roger moore that would be great too.

As you guys are looking for changing the voice for Tomtom. There is a post which I think is pretty old but gives a good way you can change the voices to even your own voice :P

Well as we all know the fake homer simpson is just not right.
Well after a quick search I found the real official homer simpson voice.

you know i took out the link, cause i didnt know if it was safe to post here most likely not... but a quick google search of pirate bay real homer simpson voice should bring it right up

problem is, if you just add the .chk and .vif file it will cause Iphone tomtom to crash and go back to the home screen when selected. if you add all files in the zip (4 all together) the program will not crash, but voice will not work.
anyone have any ideas on how to get this to work?

The device ID for the iphone is supposedly AAHBQB2XJE however I can't seem to get it to work with the homer file since you need to rename the files. Renaming the files changes the encryption and it won't work.

Is there a way to get additional voices to show up (IE not overwriting existing voices)?

I finally manage to put homer voice into TomTom on the iPhone. :)Unfortunately, I can not continue the Project as I'm lacking quality voice of Homer.
I can continue the project if someone can give me all 59 Homer voice that is in good quality.

As I said before, I successfully got the official homer voices in to TomTom on the iPhone. This voice was authorize by TomTom which mean it's the official one. When I said "some", I mean like about 6.

Here are some of the 59 I got in:

- Take the motorway
- You have reached your Destination! You can hold your head high as you are a genius
- Turn Left

and some more.

I can actually create a complete Homer Voice Skin for iPhone if someone can give me all 59 commands in a good quality.

Everyone who help me or contribute to me will be the first one to get the Homer Skin Voice even before the release to public!!

Method 1: Viftools
Extract the Offical Homer Voice skin by using viftool or viftool2. Viftool will extract the .vif to .ogg. Then sent the files to me and I can finish the project. If you don't know how to do this then read this tutorial:

Strangely though, I can seem to extract it. It always fail when i do. If someone know why, please explain it to me or go ahead and help me out if you can.

Method 2: TomTom GPS Device beside iPhone
Do you have TomTom GPS (beside the fact of TomTom iPhone)? If so, go ahead and try Simpson on it. Turn the device on with Simpson voice skin on, caculate anything and records with anything as long it doesn't sound bad in quality, or echos and of course no background sound. So turn on demo while caculating route and try to records as many phrase and words as you can as long as it fill up the list above. Sent the file to me via pm.

Now with that said i tried getting the Homer Voice working but i am a Mac user and couldn't get it going yes i know i can use bootcamp or parallels but since im 600 miles away from home for the next few months i don't have access to my windows disks
