What are the updates in 1.1? I remember looking at it before but it wasn't worth the upgrade for me... I'll take a second look and if I have time, I will port the skin.

Hi chung15673,

Any news yet on making this work for V1.1? Using the current skin version V2.0 causes the App to crash on starting so it seems it's not compatible with V1.1

Yea, 1.1 isn't really an upgrade. Most of the features are already there in the modded skin in v1.0... I'm going to skip this upgrade until igo put in both tts and iPod controls.

I don't really see a demand for this upgrade...

Actually it does have ipod controls, and 1.1 should fix some problems with lagging and positioning. also newer maps. it is a well worth upgrade. my 2 cents...

So is there any way you can make your V2.0 skin work with the new V1.1 without crashing the app on start?

Also if you want to wait till igo include TTS & ipod cintrols then why don't you make this skin work with Magellan V1.0 (based on iGOmyway) which has TTS & ipod controls.

It would be great to see Magellan TTS with speedcams & manageable POI's.

huh, i have no idea Magellan is based on Igo... so is this same as Igo 1.1 then? or at least compatible to the skin content?

Yes, thanks for pointing it out Dazza60... I just looked at the Magellan package and it looks like it is compatible with Igo contents (including skin)

Being that Magellan has both TTS and Ipod control, I will start porting my skin to Magellan 1.0. Can't guarantee anything until during or after the holidays though...I'm quite busy with work lately (sorry)

Yes, when it comes down to it, it is basically whether I am more likely to use Magellan/Igo or Navigon. Having both TTS and Ipod control make it a close call, plus I'm positive I cant get speedcam working on the Igo platform....(but Navigon will soon have Google search for NA)

Anyway, I'll work on it.

Don't waste your time on porting it to Magellan 1.0. I spoke to them on the phone and they assured me 1.1 would be out in less than 30 days. Wait for that version and save your effort for then.

Anyway, I'll take a look at the current version to see how much effort required for porting....may not be a lot of work at all.

If I understand correctly it'll just be bug fixes, but who knows. Whatever's best for you, I've been using your iGo skin for some time now and I love it.

I've put your skin but Igo is not able to start ... at the middle point of the loading screen it crashes... I'm used to using Sbertaud13, but I'd like to test your skin!!!

And, do you know how to edit the pois, I mean, create categories e sub categories... reorganize the POI's???

Cheung15673, thanks for this amazing work to improve Igo. It was very easy to install. I just have one question, I can't seem to get the speedcam/red iight warnings to work in route simulation. Does it only work during actual driving? Or maybe I need to modify some setting? I hope you can answer this.
