- Uninstall AnyRing (if currently installed)
- Install AnyRing using the deb file
- Reboot (Not Respring)

- No need to install RockExtensions, RockApp

if you still get degault tone reboot iphone so that anyring can sync to your music library

i didnt reboot before, cuz i dont like rebbot my iphone, now working

How-to:

1. Rename the file to something easier/shorter (E.g. rockext.deb and anyring.deb)

2. SSH into your phone (Millions of guides, so I'm not explaining this)

3. Place the .deb files into a folder (I usually just use /private/var/tmp/

4. Open up MobileTerminal on your iPhone (Install via Cydia)

5. Into MobileTerminal type:

su
alpine
cd /tmp
dpkg -i rockext.deb
dpkg -i anyring.deb

6. Reboot your iPhone

(7. SSH back in and delete the .deb files to save space on HDD)

it's still not working for me. It installed fine, I select the ringtone I want to use as the default tone then exit and after it resprings it still doesn't take effect. I have rebooted aswell and still nothing :-(

Looks like it doesnt work AT ALL now for my 3g. No custom ringtone, no Marimba either.. And no vibrate either ;s too bad.

please make sure to reboot your phone after installing, some folks are reporting it working fine after a reboot.

Install "Mobile Terminal" from Cydia from featured category. That's where you're gonna put the commands in.

already done and still no workie

i installed the crack version of anyring and when i open cydia it shows me update of anyring
wh does it shows thati dont know
bt i modified the status list and make my installed version to 2.0.1 and now it stop showing me the new updates available for anyring
just open private/var/lib/dpkg/status and search for anyring and there is 2.0 just change it to 2.0.1
thats the way i finshed my prob
