If you are on firmwares up to 4.3.3, go to Jailbreakme.com and simply re-jailbreak. It's quick and should only re-install Cydia. I had a problem with a "Push Fix" package that got stuck at installation and this fixed the issue.

I wasn't able to load the applist for this package. You may need to manually fix this package.

Well, I got a weird problem:

I can access cydia with wifi off, but when I turn wifi on it will work till it loads the packages in the upper banner and after that will just quit everytime, I even followed every suggestion in this thread...

For those pesky "cant overwrite errors" just delete the files in question, or remove/--purge remove them so you can install the conflicting package.

I keep getting this error whenever I try to add or delete any package that is installed on my phone, free or paid.
Is there a fix?

1. Open "var/lib/dpkg/info" in iFile, ssh, etc.
2. delete com.xxxxxxxxx.prerm and com.xxxxxxxxxxxx.list

I have to run jaibrake again, I have a problem with Cydia and if I remove it before I I jailbrake, I have chance of staying jail broken rather than having to restore to factory default.

Right now Cydia does not have any sources, packages or data.
So my question is how to remove cydia completely?

there are multiple files named " com.xxxxxxxx.prerm and com.xxxxxxxx.list "
