On 3gs 3.1.3 and I just downloaded a ringtone and it set it as default without any problems. I am not using safari download plugin or safari download manager.

I downloaded the tones but when I set them through the app or through settings no sound comes out. When I go to the ringtones folder through iFile I see them and they play, but when set as a ringtone no sound comes out.

Is anyone having the no sound problem? I think its winterboard can u try uninstalling winterboard and letting me know cuz i cannot reproduce it

Simple fix for any ringtone that's not playing when u go to it in settings. Just rename it in the unlimtones program. Remove any periods (and maybe commas too) from the artist name & title & the ringtone should play fine when you go back to it in settings.

does anyone have a problem with unlimtones 4.0 on iphone4!! mine just opens and close quickly!! try reinstalling it, unlistall and install again, respring a few times even reboot and nothing!! the thing is that this is happening in one of my iphone 4, i have it working on a second one!! so a really don't know what's wrong with this one!!

Edit: after a few talks with the developer he upgraded the unlimitone on his repo (repo.i4iphones.info) to 4.0-7 that seems to be working fine!!
if it crash try putting the app on a folder and lunch it from there (that fix it for me)!! Big thanks to the developer for the help!!

Iv always had a problem with unlimtones iv just downloaded again hoping that it would work, but no such look, I now get this message everytime I try and preview a ringtone " file error unable to configure network read stream " . Where am I going wrong??

having same issue, ios5 iPhone 4 unlimtones 4.7-15

update: downloaded 4.7-16, no error, spinning wheel with stop icon but no sound, apps hangs and crash my phone to safe mode. need to re organize springboard as apps in folders are expelled out.. =.=
