I'm amazed at this app. When I first glanced at the genres, I didn't see much that interested me in those... but when I used the search.. it was ON! I found anything and everything, even stuff most people probably never heard of or forgot about. Even found old NES ringtones, those are classic and I'm a super geek for them. Is there any way of getting a "Games" category? I don't know what part you play in making that happen but if word could get passed along the lines. That would be cool. I can think of the classics I'd like to find, but would enjoy seeing what other tones get uploaded. Also a "Cartoons" or "Themes" would be awesome.

On another thought.. is there a way to make a small adjustment to the "Manage Ringtone" section? Like, when I accidentally click on the wrong ringtone, I have to either listen or rename it. Is there a way that you could just be able to touch outside that dialog box to cancel my choice? I realize I could just hit rename and cancel or hit play and deal with it.. Just wondering if that could be adjusted :)

No sms yet. As far as the need for a cancel, that was a silly mistake on my part. To all beta testers i am planning on incorporating ffmpeg and faac and therefore the app will be able cut up ur music in your library(still working on this part) and then hopefully u will be able to upload to Audiko.net. This will obv take a while but i will do the best i can. for beta testing i will give u guys a version that i am planning to release to cydia.

i think its a great app, use it all the time. the ONLY complaint i have is where the ringtones download to....the default ringtone folder. cant they somehow be put into the other folder where the ringtones you sync from within iTunes all go? that way...once you download them, you could maybe sync them into itunes so you have them? right now, you have to go in and manually SSH them out or go into iFile and email the tones you downloaded from the ringtones folder to yourself and then put them into itunes and resync them to your phone so you have them for later use in case you have to downgrade, upgrade, or restore firmware. just a thought...if not...no big deal i love the app regardless! kudos!

unfortunately sms tones don't work like that i am working closely with the audiko team to bring sms support. if anyone has suggestions for sites that host many iphone sms tones i could implement that for now.

also the fact that text ringtones use a .aiff renamed to .caf makes a bit more converting involved.

nice app btw. definitely beats itunes' pay for ring

also, uploading of ringtones from custom ringtones section would be nice so you can share ringtones with everyone that uses the app.(according to iTunes, i have 450 custom ringtones) made using the old trick itunes to think that a 30 second converted .m4a is a .m4r (rename the a to r)

@DragoonDart That is a very good suggestion I will consider that as I am working on a method/new app that will allow converting library songs into ringtones and user will be able to define start and end. i'd like to know how many others have custom ringtones they would like to upload from the phone.
