This is the error I got when trying to install the deb file. Any hint on how to resolve this?

I have installed the deb via the auto install folder, it worked fine

looks like dependency issue. Did you run it in super user mode ( As in type su and give the password and then run the dpkg -i command) ?

Here is the lang2 modified to remove depends. So install it first and install Swirly.

Finally got the damn thing to install. I tried to install swirlymmsv2 just by itself, but it complained about needing the language pack. Then the language pack wouldn't install because it complained about dependency on the swirlymmsv2 main app. In the end, I had to force the installation of the DEB by using the commands:

dpkg -i --force-all filename.deb (filename.deb = the deb file you want to install)


Now that it's installed, I noticed that the icon on the home screen has chinese symbols instead of SwirlyMMS, and also the MMS settings are for china. Any way we can change it so that it says SwirlyMMS instead of chinese characters?

Quick question: does this app work for anyone? After entering my provider's MMS settings, I sent a test MMS to myself. It seems that the MMS was sent, but I never received it on my iphone.

I have installed official 2.1.9. After rebbot i have installed fla243 lang2.deb and SwirlyMMS2_2.1.9.deb. Reboot and now it's works.

When I go to info, it still shows SwirlyMMS 2.1.3 instead of 2.1.9. So I presume that we aren't talking about a new crack. The version 2.1.3 is already in this forum(click here).

2.1.3 cracked already in this forum not works with firmware 3.1. For works with 3.1 first you must to install official 2.1.9 and after the files ang2.deb and SwirlyMMS2_2.1.9.deb. Yes, you are right, it is 2.1.3 but works with 3.1 firmware.

native mms doesnt work on 2g iphone. and there are lot more features than native. i prefer native mms. but since apple blocked it on 2g iphone this is the only way to get mms
