Hey everyone, I have accidentally deleted the dpkg file found in usr/bin. I have searched online for it and thought I found it, but it didn't work. Anyone know where I can get a hold of this? Thanks in advance!

Error happens once I modify (delete/upgrade) an app or install an app through Cydia.

check the thread i shared, try reinstalling cydia. theres a guide there. also, if that doesnt work.. maybe u'll have to rejailbreak.

If you don't have Mobile Terminal, you can install any of the SSH /Terminal apps in the App Store and use that to connect to the phone itself,
Address / Host = 127.0.0.1 or localhost.

I had the same error and just tried something by chance, since mobileterminal and dtunes run hand in hand, I uninstalled dtunes then mobileterminal surprise no error codes.
Then I resprung and reloaded dTunes which also installed MobileTerminal surprise no error codes.
These were the errors I was getting all the time previously:
Trying to overwrite */Applications/Terminal.app/Info.plist', which is also in package com.myrepospace.iphonetechie.mobileterminal
Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
It was just dumb luck that I tried it and that it worked.
Hope this helps someone else.

I'm also having the same problem with usr/bin/dpkg returning error code 1 when I try to install most apps from Cydia, sometimes it gives me the same message but installation works, no success most of the time tho . What can I do to fix this

How the hell are you guys "accidentally" deleting the file? the dpkg binary is used to install/uninstall/manage all debian packages, which is the main purpose of cydia... You should not touch it or try to hack it.
