Good post and very informative, thanks. Perhaps this thread should be a 'sticky' :)

Ok. Got a problem and I need help. I kinda dug to deep tonight and locked up my phone. I got it restored, jailbroken, etc. Now I am trying to re add my themes. Well I open up iFunbox like normal but it doesn't show my phone like normal. This is what it shows...?

smeltn your device is in firmware 2.1?
try to update your iphone if it's in version 2.1.

Turbo46 you have to install SSH on your iphone by using cydia.
After you need to connect it by using winscp. be sure to make unlimited time for the lockscreen.
if you don't succeed to connect it. try to switch on off your wifi on iphone when he's seaching the device.

with this guide i i have install multiflow.
but now i want to install these http://xsellize.com/...-One-Archive%29 .
it's driving me crazy.
i've try the method using winscp, with mobileinstaller, and last to put it in var/root/Cydia/AutoInstall
But after that i reboot my device where do you find it?

To Smeltn: You need to add afc2add from cydia in order to access the phone as jailbroken...
