I found a way to play it online by 3G network !!!! It works and i have no lags !!! (iphone 3GS)
To do it, just install MyWi from xsellize repo in Cydia. Than just turn ON the wifi tethering and you're done !! Now you can run Asphalt5 and play Online multiplayer mode without any errors :D Hope it works for you,too :) If i helped, click Thanks button.

EDIT: It also works with 3G Unrestrictor :D:D

Guys, while i was playing asphalt 5, i don't know what move i did, or what button i pressed or whatever i did on the garage screen and it took me to a "cheat screen" where i was able to rise my ammount of money to whatever i like. But somehow i was just lucky, i wasnt able to get to that cheat screen anymore =( anyone know anything about it?

u can edit the plist to increase how long your boost last how much nitro it uses, and how fast your car goes with boost, and its self explanitory on how to edit the file because the makers of asphalt 5 gave you in the file instructions :D its the asphalt5.cfg file feel free, it works with multiplayer too, LOL

Do you have the AppSync instaled in your iPhone?
Install it using cydia.
Choose the version according to your FW.
