Thanks, also changed because of the reports of iphone hacks. I keep ssh off and only turn it on (via sbsettings) when needed.

it is worth changing the mobile password too. Saurik has a whole article about this on the front page of cydia. To change the mobile password:

Can I change my password before I SSH through Winscp for the very first time or do I have to use 'alpine'. I hope this question makes since? I bought a new iphone Sunday and this is the first time I have jailbroken.

i had the ikee worm.
deleted all the files as listed in another thread but it seems my password has been changed too.
above steps dont work as after entering alpine " incorrect password" is coming up

please help

use alpine 1st, then change ur password.
