Hy guys,

there are sevaral posts about (apparently) free ringmakers and options on how to make them yourself your itunes, etc.

I am not getting the itunes method yet. But I will try it again...

In the meantime. Is there really no shareware or freeware out there that you could use to create a simple ringtone or sms sound? (Yes I know about iringer. but the 30 secs don't get me very far...)
If there isn't any shareware, are there any keygens or cracks for some programs out there?

I am really not trying to be greedy. But I don't see why you need to pay $15 to $20 for something, that you allready did. You bought a song, you cut it, you want to use it as ringtone. Just because apple definitely bungled that one, we shouldn't pay. Is at least my opinion!

actually doing ringtunes with itunes is very easy, here are some videos how to manage that:

tonefxs app on cydia and tonefxs creator can create ringtones and sms tones and transfer them to the phone

when i use tonefx it doesnt stop the sms tone when u hit the volume button

After uploading and cutting the ringtone out of you mp3
you need to click on download as mp3 and the select
to download for iphone. then drop it in itunes into you ringtone
folder and you are fine.

I have the same problem the tones work good and all for the sms but when i get a txt message i can't silence it by pushing the volume keys up or down or by even holding them ????

hello ive got a iphone 3g is there any way i can put new message tones on it because ive managed to make ringtones but dont no what i have to do to do mwssage tones ive tried downloading some but they just come back with error all the time is there something i need to put on my fone to start off with please help the message tones are so boring
