I'm interested in testing. I have a bunch of experience with jailbreaks.

Eventually these functions will be unlocked for the original and 3g iphone... I just learned a few weeks ago that the A2DP Stereo Bluetooth had been enabled for the 1st gen iTouch and Original iphone.... An apple claimed it wouldnt work because of hardware problems...I have used this A2DP Enabler app on my wifes and sons original iphone and it works excellent for the ipod but when listening to music apps over wifi it is a little iffy. Here is the link for the website http://www.dmytro.me...tions.html#more or add this source to cydia http://apt.dmytro.me ... It does require A2DP capable headset..

(another perfect example is allowing people to get their purchased iTunes songs without DRM for $.30 more, but on in file sizes twice the size as what they had before, so UN-DRM/NOT AND iPOD=less music can be stored on it.)
"another perfect example" of uninformed people. The File size it twice the size because their old drm music was 128kbs and the new non-drm is 256kbs twice the bitrate twice the file size. Think about it.

TOTAL = 2 years... ::)

I have had my iPod touch/iPhone jailbroken since 1.1.2 days and have always stayed current on the hacking scene. I have been looking for a way to do this for a while and hope to test this.

Not exactly. That post was only an app store app called Vocalia with a look alike splash screen of the native voice control. Then the poster said to designate the home button using app flow to this app. I dont think that Vocalia has the range of commands and bluetooth functionality as the native application supports.

Right on... I sold my mint condition iphone 2g for $320 in July and turned around and got a 3gs for $199. So didnt come out 2 bad for paying $499 for it and using it for almost 2 years. My main thing about the 3gs was running all of the jailbroke software at once like intelliscreen, winterboard, intellidial ect.. My 2g i had to only pic and choose or the phone was slower than shit... So having a faster phone running all the extensions is my most favorite thing..
