Hi I'm new to this forum and reading over your post and just wanted to make sure I understood you. Now, I have a iphone 3gs, I used Sn0wbreeze yesterday. I think everything worked fine thus far. I didn't attempt to unlock it because I'm using a ATT GoPhone Sim Card, I just just basically jailbroke it. I went through the entire process without running Blacksn0w. The end result a jailbroken iphone 3gs 3.1.3 baseband 5.11.07. Now my question is since I still have the 5.11.07 baseband, is it possible for me to downgrade back to firmware 3.1.2 if I so decide? And if so how do I do it?

blacksn0w is not working on 3.1.3 no matter what baseband you have. There is a compatibility problem with the commcenter in 3.1.3. According to the developer geohot would need to fix it to work. So, even if you updated and kept the 5.11 baseband, you still can only jailbreak.

my 3GS with model no. MB718LL plus serial no. 879417Q.... does it has the OLD BootRom or with NEW BootRoom ... I can't proceed creating my Custom Firmware not unless someone assure me it has the OLD BootRom ...

i have 3gs mc with 3.1.2 with new bootrom jailbroken with blackra1n rc3 an im sticking with it, good luck with 3.1.3 i'll wait cause i see 3.2 firmware update wont be far behind this one which is probably why their probably wont be a solution for 3.1.3 theres no point creating a jailbreak for it until a major update happens or 4g iPhone is released
