I just installed pkgbackup and thought I would try using the facebook connect feature. I've never done that before, ever, but I figured what the hell, so I had it save my password. The app itself didn't work for me (whatever), but my facebook mailbox was full with about 100 replies to, apparently, a spam message that "I" sent out.
So...don't store passwords. Especially in the pkgbackup app!

You should contact the developer and delete the message that "you" sent out. Also make sure you didn't have your FB password saved on your computer and someone is just messing with you.

was it a "cracked" copy of the program? Whoever cracked it might have added/edited some scripts

Ooh yeah, didn't think about that. It was a cracked version; I'll have to track down which one I downloaded. Don't even remember if it was from here or installous...
The pkgbackup version I installed from Cydia normally. The section says "XVIP."
