try more... and it will not work if you are on lockscreen... the iphone must be on home screen

Pls help 2 days ago I use WinSCP and works fine but yesterday I connected my iPhone with PS Suite and now i can`t connect to my iPhone with WinSCP!
I was believe that problem is in PandaDaemon (PS Suite install PandaDaemon automatically) and I removed PandaDaemon but problem is still here!
On my laptop on wifi (Adhoc network) is a mesagge "waiting for user" although on my iPhone is shows that is connected on Adhoc wifi!!!

your iPhone must be ON... if you are in LOCKSCREEN, so theres no effect ! (expect if you have KeepAwake ON)

use iPhone Tunnel Suite 2.7 that`s the one i use i got tired of trying to connect with winscp altho iphone tunnel uses winscp it does all the job for you ever since i started using it im able to ssh into my ipod with no problem at all ssh thru usb 'tunnel' or wifi i use usb is faster and i believe safer than wifi so try it out and see that it's better than breaking your head and frustrating over this time out connection error shit :P

cool ill check it out.. here is a lil guide i made to do this with no extra software for 3.0

A. Prepare the iDevice (i have an iPhone 3G 8gb blk)
1. jailbreak
2. install Open SSh from Cydia
3. restart for good measure
4. turn on tethering....Go to help.benm.at from your iPhone

i made a custom file for myself as im in india and my operator was not in the list

B. Prepare the comp
1. Have the iphone cable
2. Install Winscp (google it)
3. Connect iphone to pc and turn on tethering (i did usb only)
4. Your connection will show up in 'network connections'
5. double click on the connection and go to 'support' tab
6. note down your ip address

mine was 192.168.20.2

7. start up WinSCP
8. For host name write your IP

For me this didnt work so i wrote 192.168.20.1 instead and it worked. I think its something to do with the router but im no expert

9. username- root ; password- alpine
change nothing else and you should be in
