I even bought bitesms since SMS rates here are very expensive.
it's worthe very cent and I beg you to support the programmer. it's only a one-guy thing and he was even available via email on christmas to fix some issues I personally had with the carrier.
Please support this guy. it's worth every cent and we need people like him.
Thanks

I agree totally with flyer5 - I generally use hacked apps but BiteSMS is the only app that I really feel was worth buying.
Free updates and an awesome app!
They are a small dev house - not like some of the big App store names, yet have created by far and away one of the most useful and user friendly apps for the iPhone.

ok i appreciate the input on purchasing, and ill totally have a look into not using the cracked one..
However no one has given me any idea why use bite sms not the normal sms function (ps. my rates are fine on my plan, so i dont need to change it financially)
Glenno.
ps. cheers for replies

I have to agree with everyone on this. Bitesms is great. To answer your question, there are several reasons why you might enjoy this app. It has a better user interface and tons of options like quick compose, quick reply, templates and it allows you to show contact pics next to messages. I guess it really depends on how often you text. For me I use my phone for many things but love the fact Bite allows me to answer my text messages without closing out of of any launched programs. That alone simply makes it better than the standard text messaging package.

Maybe you should try all SMS apps out there, before you buy one of them.
Usually they offers few days to try out.
Personally, I like BiteSMS the most.
Simple, yet very useful.
Whatever you choose, it's better than the native app.
Especially the ones that have Quick Reply/Quick Send(Compose), insert contact (for sharing via sms), Template, etc.

You've got to be kidding me! iReal is a bad knock off. Used both of them until I decided to buy biteSMS...
biteSMS is worth every penny! Never regreted buying it... Especially with all those beta updates coming out almost every week!
Deffinitly, by far the best Messaging solution for iPhone!

I'd have to agree and say BiteSMS is better than iReal, IMO.
I was debating between which one I should purchase since they offer similar features but the fact that BiteSMS is constantly updating is what drew me in.
I don't care about who copies who, the fact that bite dishes out new updates faster is completely worth the money (for a cheaper price too). When BiteSMS 4.6 was released, within a week they announced the 4.7 Beta. Both apps are good in their own ways but Bite has a larger team which is able to provide new features faster.
