This app is awesome. Props to the dev and everyone who helped make this a reality. Just cracked my first couple of apps and they work perfectly! Really fun to use and I like how it tags your crack with your user name. Just awesome!

Does this Copy the .IPA then crack the copied IPA or does it crack the original IPA file? Also where is the default save location?

It cracks the original and makes a copy that is put in /var/mobile/Documents/Cracked

one of the results i v found is that : it says (successfuly cracked ) , and after installing the cracked app , it works fine for 2 to 4 minutes and then it stops and takes me to there web page and states ( you have a cracked app , please buy it ) !!

Just be aware that this version counts how many cracks the app does... Not sure what else but I block ALL comms from this app. Great app but seriously, gathering info? :(

Then more than likely the app needs to be patched. Some apps have additional DRM which the scripts can't crack. It's not a problem with Appcrackr.

Ah that could be it but I tried it in Safe Mode too. It just loads up but when you click crack, it starts up and then crashes out...

There is a chat client app which requires a $2.99 payment fee each month to use. An older version is available on apptrackr.org but it expires after 30 days of use. I purchased the latest version from iTunes and used this program to crack it. Two questions:

1) I want to send the crack to someone to test, but I want to make sure I'm not including any personal information in the IPA file that might get me banned from the future use of the program. I know I can rename the IPA to ZIP and look through the archive, so is there anything that I should be looking for? Would my iPhone UDID be stored in a PLIST somewhere?

2) How could I crack the server side checks which happen every 30 days?

To protect any personal information that might be stored, delete the iTunesmetadata.plist (which doesn't contain that much personal info). Your UDID is not stored anywhere on the app and they won't get you unless the dev finds exactly who you are (0.000001% chance)

You can try using UDID faker to change your UDID to reset the 30 days or try using Firewall IP to block the checks, but that might also make it stop working cause it might need to connect to the server to use the client.

Also when I open the plist in Notepad++ it is a little hard to read, unlike other plist files. Has a lot of 3 character black words, dunno if that makes any sense. Can anyone recommend a good plist editor for 64-bit Windows 7?

It'll still install correctly. That file is just used to give you updates for the app, but it won't matter to the person as he didn't buy it and can't update it.

The plist viewer I'm using right now is plist editor for windows made by iPodRobot (should work for Windows 7 as it works for me on Windows 7). You can also try this... http://modmyi.com/fo...ist-editor.html
