EDIT: Never mind, I downgraded to 1.4 and it worked.

I'm using the AppStore version, and I can't even find the "Grooveshark" folder in var/mobile/Library, so I'm not sure whether it does work or not. All I know is that I'm uninstalling the Appstore version right now and installing the Cydia one!

If you're already on a PC you can us TubeMaster to capture Grooveshark streams. I haven't found a stream capture yet for the Mac that works as well. I can understand showing a method to do this on the phone but if you need to use a PC to rename it and stuff why not just use a PC tool? Tubemaster also downloads the file entirely, don't have to wait for the entire song to play.

Not meaning to troll but just wanted to throw it out there.

GrooveShark has been updated to version 2.0.0

The update changes the plist to an SQLite and changes the authentification method to patch this trick.

Stay on 1.5.2 if you want to reset your trial

   really simple to keep getting the 14 day / 50 song trial on Grooveshark 2.0/2.0.x - go to /var/mobile/Library/Preferences, find the following file "com.grooveshark.Grooveshark.plist", edit the mobile id #  (6 digits, same old trick) then save.  you're welcome.  really surprised you guys didn't figure this out already.

i did but i wanted to create a script so the exploit dun be fixed by the developers

anyway i will update the 1st post with the tutorial

BTW, when i hit the Settings button in Grooveshark, the app crashes. All the other functions work properly, but i can't enter the settings. Kinda weird.. (running v2.01 on 3gs 4.1 fw.)
