Thanks for the "heads up"...Just one extra tidbit...Mac users have to actually download Tunnelblick 3.0; apparently, its the same as OpenVPN for Windows...but for the Mac. If you try to download from the OpenVPN site (for Mac) you just get an error and never actually get the download.
Or I guess you can try this...
1. Download and install UltraVPN (http://www.ultravpn.fr/download.htm). Get both Mac and Windows versions. While you're at it, go ahead and set up a username with UltraVPN. It's free and allows you to connect to the UltraVPN servers.
2. Install UltraVPN to Applications folder, then open it.
3. Allow it to set up a sample config script, we'll be replacing it soon enough. If it puts an icon to the right of your clock in the menu bar, go ahead and quit it.
4. This is where Windows comes in. You'll need to install UltraVPN in Windows (VirtualBox, BootCamp, or Wine) I used Wine to install it. It'll fail, but you'll still get the files you need. In whatever Windows installation you're using, go to C:Program FilesUltraVPNconfig. Copy "ca.crt" and "client.ovpn" to your Desktop. Since I'm using Wine, I used the Terminal to find and copy these files.
5. In OS X, open user/Library/openvpn, where user is whatever your username is. Copy "ca.crt" and "client.ovpn" to this folder. Delete whatever .conf file is there, and rename client.ovpn to "OpenVPN.conf".
6. Open up UltraVPN and click on its icon. Select Details... then click connect. If done correctly, it'll spit out some connection information, hopefully with the word SUCCESS throughout it. It will then prompt you for your username/password.
7. Open up any browser and you will be able to navigate anonymously.
8. If you need to use the internet without UltraVPN, you can just disconnect from the network and resume your activity.

For OSX I like to use Viscosity personally, but thanks for that heads up, didn't realise there was openVPN for iPhone. I've been using PPTP on it until now.

This totally works, but you have to sorta interpret the instructions for setting it up on a Mac. Once you get it set up on your Mac, the rest is easy!
Thanks fareal- for the tip on Viscosity. Its gotta a nice simple UI and seems to work well for me.
Viscosity 1.0.9 [KG]
