Still it is annoying problem to have books and to be left with this problem.

i don't think your 3GS unactivated 850 MB work because the ipsw freezes at last moment. perhaps remake it please

your earlier 915 MB one works great though.

The 3gs unactivated worked fine but no Game center in there

hello i have an ipod touch 2g with ios 4.0 ORIGINAL (non jb) now if i want to install custom firmware how i can do? i must restore to 3.1.3 jb or i can restore normally?

iPod Touch 2G version doesn't work for me on Windows XP - it doesn't even ask me if i want to restore. It just unpacks then prepares to restore. During this iPod's screen is full of artefacts - looks like the graphic card was broken, after several minutes the 1604 error appears. ;[

I use iTunes 9.2 and I keep on having the error 1600, 1601 and 1604, it does not matter if I change USB port, or machine, so much in recovery mode or DFU. I was reading it is an error on having tried to load a Custom 4.0 FW. Installed the stock iOS 4.0 firmware - no problem. But still unable to install the Pwnage Tool version. Any idea? Thank you

for me megaupload always downloads at arround 100/150kBps so i downloaded the ipsw i needed to my seedbox and uploaded it to thepiratebay, i hope this is fine with OD.

seedbox will seed it at 6000kBps until theres enough seeds.

edit:forgot to mentio this is the ipsw for the 3gs, unactivated, PT 4.0.1

^ As a habit I create preserved baseband first. I have ones with baseband update in the queue, but my upload speed is only so much.

to see if anyone would ask xD, jk thats actually a good question. my baseband is updated anyways since i used a ipsw that updated baseband then i used the new one with PT4.0.1 so whatever...
