OK heres the vid. sorry for the crappy quality, taken with a crappy camera, and it is 5am.

But note, this is 3GS running 3.1.2 not a 4 in sight in hardware or software

try it for yourslef if you havent updated to 4 yet. its NOT just the new iphone so forget all the rumour going around.

Huh. I tried it on my 3gs running 3.1.3., when I hold it with my left hand it drops from 4 bars to 2. Let it go, and goes back to 4. Weird. Now I dont feel so worried about getting my iphone 4 tomorrow

Interesting.
I have a 3G just tried it, and didn't see any difference.

But technically, your hand is covering the internal antenna when you place your hand like that. So it would make sense that the signal would drop.

My 3Gs keeps full signal anyway ill hold it... This is possibly more because of poor signal strengh in the first place?

Three years have passsed and no one noticed this or thought of doing this test until now?
Maybe some of us have more static electricity or "shielding capabilities" than others...

this very true my dad cant where digital watches or anlogue ones with batteries as after about a month they just die he has to use klinetic style ones so this could play a major factor in the iphone signal drop also people are only noticing it now because the antenna is visible by the breaks in the case giving people something visual to pick up on
If I helped you or you like my post please feel free to hit that respect Posted Image
