Here's how you can get MyWi and My3G to work together:

part 1: For myWi 4.3.4 - simply download and install via Cydia.
In Cydia, search for:

1) search for mywi in Cydia; you will find it and then install which will also install RockApp.
2) AFter download is complete, start up mywi - it will give you a trial day period to use. If you have not signed up for a Rock account, be sure to do so beforehand.
3) Uninstall the mywi app only.
4) Go into Cydia, download from this repo: http://www.biteyourapple.com/repo and then search for MyWi4 (No Rock). There's two MyWi listed, be sure to select the MyWi version 4.0
5) After your download, you may simply move on to the My3G part:

Part 2: For My3G - simply do the following:
1) Add in a new repo: http://repo.i4iphones.info
2) Search for My3GHacked
3) Install My3GHacked
4) Reboot (twice) if needed (if you you don't see the ROCK and My3G icons on your springboard)
5) After reboots and you see the My3G icon and Rock icon, simply do the following:
6) Go into the /var/lib/dpkg/ folder. Find the file named: status
7) copy the file: status to your computer desktop (I use a mac)
8) Edit the file and search for My3GHacked
9) DELETE THE ENTIRE BLOCK of text; then save the file
10) Transfer and overwrite the original status file in the /var/lib/dpkg directory
11) Go into CYDIA - then into your PACKAGES - FIND ROCK - delete the piece of sh_it.

You will NOT get an error about "half installed" files/dependencies!

Reboot twice again if need be and all will work 100%.

I didn't want to write this post in the My3G thread because it was filled with confusing incorrect methods.

NOTE: You may experience sudden respring and freezes - if this happens, simply hold HOME button and POWER switch until restart. After this freezing, it doesn't seem to come happen again.

Mywi works fine but my3g wont load, looks like it's starting up ... then quits. iPhone 4 32GB running iOS 4.0

i found a simple way just rollback date and time just the year to 1992 and the expiration date will be 6,581 days

Hopefully its a temp glitch but it seems the rock servers are down. Prolly sys maintance ... or their on to us lol.

Had the same issue with the error just reboot and try to remove rock again it works

Op, another issue with this hack is when I now try to install any app through Cydia (eg. sbsettings), it will try to re-install Rock, and the only way to get rid of it is to re-edit the status file. But then it will re-install itself when i try to make another update or install from cydia.

Any way to bypass this?

I installed My3G and MyWi before I knew about the cracked versions. I then found the elpelle crack and removed the original MyWi, installed the cracked version, then removed Rock app. So looks like My3G disappeared with the removal of Rock app. I do have MyWi working fine. Question is, how do I get My3G back without screwing up MyWi? If I reinstall Rock, will it disable MyWi? Thanks for any help!
